Ghost of Yotei Will Be Less Repetitive Than TsushimaIn a recent interview with the New York Times, Sucker Punch revealed key details about Ghost of Yotei, including its new protagonist, Atsu, and a significant shift in gameplay design. Creative director Jason Connell highlighted the challenge of balancing open-world exploration with the risk of repetitive gameplay. "We wanted to balance against the repetitive nature of doing the same thing over and over," Connell stated, "and find unique experiences." He also confirmed that players will have access to firearms alongside traditional melee weapons.

The goal is to retain the series' stunning visuals while delivering a more dynamic and less repetitive gameplay experience.
