Kim explained, "Every Zoi action affects their karma. Upon death, their karma determines their afterlife. Low karma results in a ghostly existence, requiring karmic redemption before rebirth."
The consequences extend beyond individual Zois. Kim continued, "An excess of ghosts prevents new Zois from being born and halts family formation, making karma management crucial for city prosperity." This dynamic adds a layer of strategic depth, challenging players to balance the karmic scales.
