Dive into the thrilling world of the cooperative horror game *R.E.P.O.*, where up to six players team up for a physics-based retrieval adventure. Your mission? Navigate through various maps, secure valuable items, and make a successful extraction. But to ensure your efforts aren't lost, understanding how to save your game in *R.E.P.O.* is crucial.
How To Save Your Game in R.E.P.O.
Nothing is more disheartening than booting up your game, expecting to pick up where you left off, only to find your progress unsaved. This is particularly common with new releases. Not every game features autosave, and some require specific actions or locations to be reached before saving is possible. It's easy to overlook save instructions, especially when they aren't clearly presented.
In *R.E.P.O.*, remember that the game autosaves only upon completing a level. There's no option for manual saving, so exiting during a retrieval mission or after dying (which sends you to the Disposal Arena) means you'll lose your save and have to restart. Death in *R.E.P.O.* results in the deletion of your save file, and leaving mid-level forces you back to the start of that level.
To save, you must finish a level or location. After collecting your valuables, head to the Extraction Point, board the truck, and signal your AI boss, the Taxman, by holding the message button above your head. This cues a move to the Service Station, where you can shop and then proceed to the next level using the same button.
