Gacha game enthusiasts are always keen to follow the financial performance of their favorite titles. January 2025's revenue figures are in, and they reveal some interesting trends.
Genshin Impact's major update, featuring the Pyro Archon and the highly anticipated Mawuika banner, proved incredibly successful. miHoYo (HoYoverse) saw a remarkable surge in revenue, more than doubling its December 2024 earnings to a staggering $99.4 million (compared to $45.6 million the previous month).

Trailing behind Genshin Impact, Pokémon TCG secured a strong second place with $64 million in revenue. Love and Deepspace, a popular "female gacha" game, rounded out the top three, generating $55.2 million.
Honkai: Star Rail experienced a dip in earnings, reaching $50.8 million, while Zenless Zone Zero saw a significant decrease, its revenue halved from $57.9 million to $26.3 million.
It's important to note that these rankings only reflect mobile platform revenue. While some games, such as miHoYo's titles, also have PC versions, those earnings are not included in this data. Furthermore, the methodology clarifies that due to Google Play's unavailability in China, Android revenue estimates for that region are calculated using a multiplier based on iOS revenue within the country.
