Unlock the Mistral Lift in Destiny 2's Dawning Event: A Guide to the God Roll
The Dawning event in Destiny 2 has returned, bringing with it the opportunity to bake treats for NPCs and acquire new weapons, including the coveted Mistral Lift Linear Fusion Rifle. This guide details how to obtain the Mistral Lift and its optimal god roll.
Acquiring the Mistral Lift
The Mistral Lift is a limited-time weapon available only during The Dawning event. To obtain it, you'll need to trade with Eva Levante. The exchange requires one "Gift in Return" and 25 Dawning Spirits. Eva also sells Festive Engrams for a Gift and 10 Dawning Spirits, but this method doesn't guarantee the Mistral Lift.
Gifts in Return are earned by baking Dawning treats (like the Neomun-Cake) and gifting them to NPCs. Dawning Spirits are the event's currency, obtained through completing daily Dawning quests and bounties from Eva. Repeat the process until you acquire the Mistral Lift.
The God Roll: PvE Domination
While Linear Fusion Rifles haven't always been meta in Destiny 2, the Mistral Lift excels in PvE, particularly for solo players. The recommended god roll is:

While Envious Assassin is a viable alternative to Withering Gaze for group play, both are excellent choices. Fluted Barrel, Enhanced Battery, and Handling masterwork enhance stability and ammo capacity.
