What is the story of Decarnation?

You follow Gloria, a cabaret dancer whose life has completely fallen apart. Her career has stalled, her relationships have dissolved, and she is struggling with her own identity.

Suddenly, a mysterious benefactor offers her a chance to revive her artistic career, which she accepts. However, this opportunity spirals into a harrowing journey through the darkest recesses of her own mind, where reality and illusion become indistinguishable.

Every element of the game feels like a distorted reflection of Gloria's inner world. One moment you're navigating a surreal, seemingly sentient theatre; the next, you're lost in fractured realities filled with shifting symbols and half-remembered fears.

The pixel art is beautifully unsettling, blending the elegance of a stage performance with a sense of decay through vivid colors and stark contrasts.
