Artist's Eye is a utility that helps you draw or paint with a real pen or pencil on paper or canvas.
Select a model picture (such as a photo) and watch your drawing or painting through your phone or tablet's camera as you work.
The model appears semi-transparent over your ongoing drawing, helping you outline contours—similar to how the camera lucida was used centuries ago ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camera_lucida ).
For best results, mount your phone on a stable stand so it remains still and both hands are free.
This isn't cheating—it's a new way to work and learn.
