WoW Patch Plagued by Bugs, Including German Bank Glitch

By LiamDec 08,2025

World of Warcraft just released a major new patch—the kind that introduces a new zone, quests, dungeons, a delve, a raid, plenty of story content, and much more. While it’s common to encounter a few bugs with new releases, Patch 11.2 appears to be filled with stranger glitches than usual…including a humorous issue that’s converting some players’ bank interfaces to German.

This German-language glitch has been reported by several players using English-language game clients, not connected to EU servers. It’s not game-breaking by any means—just unusual. It switches bank tabs into German, while everything else remains in the original language. Interestingly, players from other countries and language settings have encountered similar problems—but with different languages. For instance, one German player reported their tabs appearing in French, while someone playing with an English client from Poland also saw French tabs, and the player’s wife had hers changed to German.

That’s not the only issue troubling players, though. While questing in the new zone, K’aresh, I personally ran into multiple bugs: quests failing to complete, vanishing unexpectedly from the quest log, and interactive objects that become usable only after fully restarting the game. I also experienced frequent disconnections last night—and I’m not alone. Some players are unable to log in at all.

Others are coming across even stranger bugs. One player noted the game attempting to charge 500,000 gold just to enter the Darkmoon Faire—which is…slightly excessive. Another encountered a glitch (possibly related to an installed addon) that increased their bag slots to hold up to 98 items each—far beyond the current in-game limits.

Right now, it’s hard to tell whether Ghosts of K’aresh is more bug-heavy than past patch releases, or whether it just feels that way because everyone is eager to dive in as quickly as possible. Chances are, most of these issues will be resolved within a few days—or at the latest by next Tuesday’s weekly update.

In the meantime, if you plan to use your bank, you may need to brush up on your German. Viel Glück!
