The wait is over—Lost Records: Bloom and Rage, from the creators of Life is Strange, has arrived

Don't Nod, the French studio behind Life is Strange, has launched the initial chapter of their new narrative adventure. Players can currently access "Tape 1," with "Tape 2" launching freely for all purchasers on April 15th.

Initially unveiled in 2023, the game centers on a close group of friends shattered during the summer of 1995. Twenty-seven years later, the specters of that summer resurface, unleashing unforeseen and terrifying repercussions.

Blending nostalgic charm with psychological thriller elements, the game draws inspiration from titles such as It, Yellowjackets, and I Know What You Did Last Summer. The game's structure is divided into two parts: "Bloom" and "Rage." Currently, only "Bloom," the first half of this captivating mystery, is available (as of February 18th).

"The Tape," the second part, will be released April 15th. Initially planned for March, the release was delayed to refine the overall experience.

The review embargo has been lifted, with OpenCritic showing an average score of 74/100, indicating a promising start for this suspenseful narrative.
