Squad Busters is set to undergo significant changes with the upcoming removal of the Win Streaks feature. This system, which once allowed players to climb an endless ladder of consecutive wins for additional rewards, has been deemed too stressful and frustrating for many. As a result, the developers have decided to end Win Streaks to improve the overall gaming experience.
Why Is It Ending and When?
The decision to terminate Win Streaks in Squad Busters stems from feedback that the system was creating undue pressure on players, rather than enhancing their enjoyment. The feature will be discontinued starting December 16th. However, your highest streak will remain on your profile as a legacy achievement, serving as a testament to your past prowess.
To soften the blow of this change, exclusive emotes will be awarded to players who reached specific milestones before December 16th. These milestones include 0-9, 10, 25, 50, and 100 wins. Unfortunately, the coins spent on Win Streaks will not be refunded. The developers argue that coins are crucial for acquiring more babies from Reward Chests, and refunding them could disrupt the game's balance, particularly between free-to-play players and those who spend real money.
The community's reaction to this change is mixed. Some players appreciate the move away from a pay-to-win model, while others are skeptical, especially given the perceived lackluster nature of the farewell gifts.

In addition to the changes with Win Streaks, Squad Busters is currently running its latest season, Cyber Squad. This season is packed with rewards, including a free Solarpunk Heavy Skin. Players can jump into battles and explore all that Cyber Squad has to offer.
