Exciting news for fans of farm life sim RPGs: My Time at Sandrock is making its way to mobile devices! The developers have announced an exclusive Android beta test, but there's a catch—it's only available in China. If you're unfamiliar with this title, My Time at Sandrock is a sequel to 2019's My Time at Portia, released on PC in 2023 by Pathea Games. On Steam, it's published by PM Studios and Focus Entertainment, while the mobile test in China is being managed by Conscience Studio.
When Is the My Time at Sandrock Android Beta Test?
This marks the first mobile test for My Time at Sandrock, serving as a technical trial to assess how well the game adapts to mobile platforms. The developers are still fine-tuning aspects like resource loading and optimization, so participants should be prepared for some initial hiccups.
The beta test is exclusive to Android users in China and will be conducted through the Haoyou Kuaibao platform. If you're in China and interested, you can apply until January 22nd. The test itself begins on January 23rd. Keep in mind that your progress will be reset at the end of the test, but you'll have the chance to explore the first 30 days of in-game content, covering the initial 13 chapters. For more details and to apply, visit the official beta test page.
What’s the Story?
Set in a post-apocalyptic desert 300 years after the Day of Calamity—an event that obliterated modern technology—My Time at Sandrock casts you as the town's newest Builder. Your role involves gathering resources, crafting machines, befriending locals, and even battling monsters. The game's art style is delightfully quirky and charming, as you can see in the trailer below:
