The Mortal Kombat 1 development team has unveiled a special challenge: the latest update introduces Floyd, a mysterious pink ninja who unlocks the exclusive Field stage featured in trailers when defeated.
Floyd serves as a secret character, and the gaming community quickly cracked the code. Players have already discovered the unlock method and created step-by-step tutorials.

To battle the stealthy Pink Floyd, players must complete ten randomly selected challenges from a pool of thirty-seven within one gaming session. Certain tasks demand specific fighters or Kameo assists, while others require intentional losses under precise conditions. A crowdsourced spreadsheet details all potential challenges and strategies.
Note that players can't simply choose the simplest tasks—the required challenges vary randomly per session. Occasionally, Floyd may emerge mid-game to drop cryptic hints, though these appearances are uncommon. Fortunately, most objectives can be completed on beginner difficulty or via local multiplayer with a second controller.
Successfully clearing ten challenges grants three attempts to defeat Pink Floyd. Failing all attempts means resetting the process—players must complete another set of ten fresh challenges for another shot at victory.
