Marvel Rivals Unveils Season 1: Enter the Darkhold

Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls – A Deep Dive into the Darkhold Battle Pass

NetEase Games has unveiled the Darkhold Battle Pass for Marvel Rivals' Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, offering a thrilling glimpse into the upcoming content. Dracula takes center stage as the primary antagonist, overshadowing Doctor Doom this time around. The season's narrative kicks off with Doctor Strange's capture, leaving the Fantastic Four to lead the resistance against Dracula's forces. Season 1 launches January 10th at 1 AM PST.

The Battle Pass, priced at 990 Lattice (approximately $10), delivers substantial value. Completion rewards include 600 Lattice and 600 Units, usable for future cosmetic purchases or battle passes. Ten exclusive skins headline the rewards, complemented by sprays, nameplates, emotes, and MVP animations. A key feature: the pass doesn't expire, allowing players to complete it at their own pace.

A closer look at the Season 1 Battle Pass skins reveals a diverse range of character designs:

Marvel Rivals Season 1 Battle Pass Skins:

  • Loki – All-Butcher
  • Moon Knight – Blood Moon Knight
  • Rocket Raccoon – Bounty Hunter
  • Peni Parker – Blue Tarantula
  • Magneto – King Magnus
  • Namor – Savage Sub-Mariner
  • Iron Man – Blood Edge Armor
  • Adam Warlock – Blood Soul
  • Scarlet Witch – Emporium Matron
  • Wolverine – Blood Berserker

The season's aesthetic leans heavily into a dark and gothic theme. Wolverine's skin evokes a Van Helsing-inspired vampire hunter, while the new maps feature a menacing blood moon over New York City. Loki's All-Butcher skin is strikingly sinister, and Moon Knight's black and white contrast is striking. Scarlet Witch retains her signature red and purple, while Adam Warlock sports golden armor and a crimson cape.

While the Battle Pass has generated significant excitement, the absence of Fantastic Four skins has surprised some fans. Invisible Woman and Mister Fantastic debut in Season 1, but their cosmetic options will be available separately in the in-game shop. Despite this, the sheer volume of new content has many players eagerly anticipating NetEase Games' next move.
