GOG resurrects the cult classic survival horror games, Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2, bringing them to PC in DRM-free releases. Both titles, originally released on PlayStation in 1999 and 2000 respectively, are now available via GOG's Preservation Program, ensuring the original content remains untouched. While Dino Crisis 3 (an Xbox exclusive) and any new entries remain elusive despite fan demand, this release offers a welcome reprieve. Capcom's Exoprimal and comments from series creator Shinji Mikami previously suggested a new Dino Crisis game was unlikely.
These PC ports address previous compatibility issues, making them easily playable on modern systems. GOG highlights the enhanced experience, stating Regina's iconic line, "You're extinct!", no longer applies to the games themselves.
