Game Room pops a new addition to its catalogue with Word Wright

By NathanMar 15,2025

Game Room, the Apple Arcade hit, expands its impressive collection of classic and modern games with the addition of Word Wright, a brand-new word puzzle game. Available now, Word Wright offers a daily challenge of 20-35 handcrafted puzzles, each built around a selection of letters. Supporting six languages and featuring global friend challenges, the game also provides three hints per day. A key feature is its compatibility with both Apple Vision Pro and other iOS devices.

Word Wright joins a diverse roster of classic games already available in Game Room, including Solitaire, Checkers, and Sea Battle. While initially showcased as a Vision Pro flagship title, its broader iOS device support significantly expands its accessibility and potential audience.

Vision Pro's Impact

While Game Room itself is thriving, the Apple Vision Pro hasn't quite achieved the revolutionary impact predicted for augmented reality. Production has even been scaled back, a surprise even to some skeptics. However, Resolution Games' forward-thinking approach, ensuring Word Wright and Game Room support a wide range of iOS devices, positions the game for long-term success and sustained player engagement.
