How to Get Falcon Mount in FFXIV

In the vast world of *Final Fantasy XIV*, mounts are highly sought-after collector's items, with some proving far more elusive than others. The Falcon mount is a prime example; a coveted prize only available during specific events. This guide outlines how to acquire this rare and beautiful mount.

What is the Falcon Mount in FFXIV?

With FFXIV's Dawntrail expansion, the game boasts hundreds of mounts. Yet, the Falcon stands out, not for its rarity among players, but for the unique challenge of obtaining it. Initially released during the "Fly the Falcon Mount" campaign celebrating Stormblood in Summer 2017, it was a reward for players with at least 90 days of subscription. After the campaign ended, the mount became unavailable, leaving many newer players disappointed.

How to Get the Falcon Mount in FFXIV

Fortunately, a path to obtaining this elusive mount has opened up. The recurring Moogle Treasure Trove event offers a chance to acquire various rewards, including mounts, minions, and more. The current Phantasmagoria event features the Falcon Ignition Key as a valuable prize.

To participate, complete any qualifying duties, including GATEs at the Gold Saucer. The Mogpendium offers additional challenges for bonus rewards, including weekly and Ultimog challenges (once per event).

These challenges reward Tomestones of Phantasmagoria, used to exchange for rewards from the Initerant Moogle NPC (pictured above) in major cities. The Falcon mount requires 50 Tomestones of Phantasmagoria.

The Moogle Treasure Trove Phantasmagoria event runs until Patch 7.2's launch on March 25th. This is your window to obtain the Falcon mount before the event concludes. Don't miss this limited-time opportunity!
