The key is to collect everything you encounter: flowers, plants, animal wool, feathers, etc. Don't overlook anything, as even seemingly insignificant items may prove crucial later. For example, needing 100 daisies highlights the importance of thorough collection.
Animal Grooming:
Grooming animals yields valuable materials. Use the grooming suit (selected via the Tab key and identified by a brush icon).
Approach animals cautiously and hold the right mouse button until a blue brush icon appears above them before releasing. This stealth approach prevents animals from fleeing. While combat skills can temporarily incapacitate animals, sneaking is more efficient.
Bird Feathers and Fishing:
