By LeoApr 19,2025

2025 is shaping up to be a monumental year for DC Comics, with one of the most anticipated releases being the sequel to the beloved Batman saga, Batman: Hush 2. It's not every day that DC's President, Publisher, and Chief Creative Officer Jim Lee takes charge of a monthly Batman comic. This exciting storyline, kicking off in Batman #158 in March, serves as a direct follow-up to the critically acclaimed Hush saga that ran from 2002 to 2004.

DC has given fans a sneak peek into Batman #158, along with an early look at Batman #159 and a showcase of the numerous variant covers for Hush 2 (or H2sh, as some fans are calling it). You can explore all these previews in the slideshow gallery below:

While DC has explored several Hush-related storylines over the years, Batman: Hush 2 marks the first time the original creative team has come together for a sequel. This includes writer Jeph Loeb, artist Jim Lee, inker Scott Williams, colorist Alex Sinclair, and letterer Richard Starkings.

Hush 2 continues from the recent epilogue featured in the Batman: Hush 20th Anniversary Edition. The Dark Knight has uncovered evidence that his childhood friend Tommy Elliot survived their last encounter, setting the stage for a new mystery as Hush manipulates Batman's circle of allies and enemies.

Hush 2 will unfold across Batman #158-163, with the first issue, #158, hitting stores on March 26. Following this, DC plans to relaunch the series with a new #1 issue and a fresh costume, marking a new era for Batman under the creative vision of writer Matt Fraction and artist Jorge Jimenez.
