Phasmophobia's "Do As I Command" Challenge: A Step-by-Step Guide

Phasmophobia's Challenge Mode throws even seasoned ghost hunters a curveball each week. This guide details the "Do As I Command" challenge, a relatively straightforward (but still challenging) weekly task.

What is Phasmophobia's Challenge Mode?

Challenge Mode presents a weekly contract with unique conditions and equipment. Resetting every Sunday, it offers varying difficulty levels, some comparable to standard investigations, others significantly more demanding. Success requires completing the contract three times (not necessarily consecutively) before the weekly reset. Correctly identifying the ghost each time is crucial for completion. While optional objectives offer bonus points (useful for character prestige), they aren't mandatory. A successful challenge yields a $5,000 reward plus accumulated points.

The "Do As I Command" challenge is considered one of the easier Challenge Mode options. The challenge description highlights the need to actively elicit evidence from a less-active-than-usual ghost. The contract is set in Sunny Meadows (the "Restricted" version is excluded).

You'll receive a pre-set Tier 3 equipment loadout. The fuse box is functional; activate it upon arrival. Even with the provided equipment, Sunny Meadows investigations can be tricky, especially with an inactive ghost. However, this challenge offers a significant advantage: access to all seven Cursed Possessions.

Unlike other challenges, all seven Cursed Possessions are available, conveniently located together in the chapel (pictured above). Items like the Haunted Mirror or Ouija Board expedite ghost location identification, while the Voodoo Doll or Monkey Paw can trigger ghost activity to gather evidence. Remember, using these items carries risks, including sanity loss and cursed hunts.

Mastering the "Do As I Command" challenge requires strategic use of the provided resources and careful management of risk. Remember to complete the contract three times with a correct ghost identification for full reward.

Phasmophobia is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
