Valve keeps the surprises coming with its regular updates for Deadlock. The latest update, though small, brought significant changes to four heroes, showcasing the developers' ongoing commitment to balancing the game.
Calico faced a substantial nerf: her Return to Shadows ability saw a cooldown increase by ten seconds, and 20% of its speed was shifted to T2. Additionally, the damage from her T2 Leaping Slash was reduced, making her less dominant on the battlefield.
Sinclair, on the other hand, received a visual and functional overhaul. With updated sounds and animations, his Rabbit Hex ability was transformed into an Area of Effect (AoE) skill, potentially changing how players utilize him in matches. Holliday and Wraith weren't spared either, both receiving nerfs that might shift their roles in the game's meta.
The update didn't stop at heroes; items were also tweaked. Ammo Scavenger now provides fewer stacks and no longer offers a health bonus, while Extra Stamina and Restorative Shot lost their Fire Rate and Weapon Damage bonuses, respectively, affecting strategic item choices.
