Forget traditional BaitBoat remotes! The Carplounge Autopilot utilizes an Android tablet or phone for effortless control. The free app, available on the Google Play Store, connects to your boat via Bluetooth using a transmitter box. Enjoy intuitive touchscreen navigation in manual mode, mirroring the functionality of a standard remote.

Real-time tracking of your boat's position, route, and orientation (including a compass!) is displayed on an interactive map. Leveraging built-in GPS, you can pinpoint and save promising fishing spots – "jetty left," "spot 1," "home," etc. – for effortless retrieval.

Autopilot mode unleashes the true power of the system. Create complex routes by selecting saved points and assigning actions at each waypoint (opening hatches, releasing bait, activating lights). Imagine: navigate to "Sandbank," release bait from the right hopper, proceed to "Spot 2" for a left hopper release, then return home with a single light blink – all autonomously. The system supports virtually unlimited spots and routes.

Precision is paramount. Advanced sensors (position, acceleration) coupled with cutting-edge GPS and compass technology ensure pinpoint accuracy; 90% of routes are within 30cm! Intelligent line tension management prevents tangles, even when deploying two rods simultaneously to different locations. The system dynamically adjusts the boat's course to counteract line tension, maintaining a direct path to the target.

The Autopilot replaces the standard remote, but you can still connect a remote control if preferred. Any Bluetooth-enabled Android tablet works, though the app is optimized for 10-inch tablets.
