Traditionally a three-player game using a standard 52-card deck, Tongits challenges you to minimize your hand's value by creating melds (sets and runs). Victory is achieved by "Tongits" (emptying your hand), "Draw" (lowest hand value when the draw pile is depleted), or winning a challenge after a "Draw" call.

How to Play

• Setup: Each player receives 12 cards (dealer gets 13), with the remainder forming the draw pile.
• Turns: Players take turns clockwise, drawing from either the draw or discard pile. Meld creation (sets of three or four same-rank cards, or runs of three or more consecutive same-suit cards) is key. Each turn ends with a discard.
• Winning: Win by "Tongits" (emptying your hand), "Draw" (lowest hand value after the draw pile is exhausted), or winning a challenge.
• Special Actions: "Burn" (inability to make a valid move results in a round loss) and strategic challenging add layers of depth.
• Scoring: Points are awarded for melds and remaining hand values, accumulating across rounds to determine the overall winner.
