Countryball: Europe 1890 is a strategic game that blends turn-based combat with card mechanics and character stats. All these features combine to create a thrilling and enjoyable experience!

You begin Countryball: Europe 1890 by choosing a campaign or conquest mode and then selecting your character. From there, you'll work to achieve your goals by seizing territories and navigating the complexities of diplomacy.

In Countryball: Europe 1890, you have the power to declare war, send alliance invitations, puppet weakened nations, revoke your allies or puppets, and even annex your puppet states! You have complete freedom to choose your friends and foes. It's wise to secure powerful allies, as you'll face battles against multiple enemies. Before each fight, you can call upon your allies and puppets to join you. While allies may sometimes decline, your puppet states will always answer your call to arms.

To triumph in battle, you must build a powerful nation. You can strengthen your country by playing minigames or by manually boosting your stats—attack, defense, health, and mana—using star points. Earn star points by winning battles. Additionally, purchase powerful cards from the shop, each with unique combat effects. Play these cards by dragging and dropping them onto your countryball during combat. Remember, all weapons are treated as cards!

Your primary mission in Countryball: Europe 1890 is to complete objectives by defeating your rivals. Finishing campaigns unlocks new countryballs for your collection. With over 50 unique countryballs available to play, your challenge is to discover them all! Some are hidden within capital cities, while others are rewards for completing specific campaigns or conquests.
