HoYoverse has officially announced the launch date for Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7, titled 'Bury Your Tears with the Past,' set to release on April 23rd. This update marks the conclusion of Season 1, promising to wrap up its narrative arcs.
What’s in Store in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7?
Version 1.7 will unveil the long-awaited resolution to the Sacrifice crisis. Players will delve deep into Vivian's intricate backstory and finally uncover the truth about Hugo's fate following his dramatic plunge into the Hollow. The escalating tension between Mockingbird and TOPS, exacerbated by Hugo's incident, has prompted the Mayor to dispatch a special Void Hunter-rank investigator.
Accompanied by Vivian, Proxies will embark on a perilous journey into hostile territory to locate the Sacrifice Core. Vivian's mission is intertwined with her unresolved past, and the Exaltists' conspiracy is unraveling, promising a thrilling conclusion to the season's plot.

Here’s the Character Lineup
Two new S-Rank Agents from Mockingbird are joining the fray. Vivian, an Ether Anomaly Agent, wields a parasol and rapier, delivering substantial Corruption damage especially when combined with other characters' EX Special Attacks. Hugo, an Ice Attack Agent, wields a suitcase that transforms into a scythe, enhancing his damage output with the Totalize effect on stunned enemies.
Additionally, Robin, Mockingbird's agile Bangboo partner, introduces random effects through her card-throwing abilities. Returning in Version 1.7’s banners are Jane, the Physical Anomaly Agent, and Lighter, the Fire Stun Agent.
Version 1.7 also introduces new events, including 'Say It With Flowers,' where players can manage a flower shop, fulfill design requests, and create floral arrangements. Completing these commissions unlocks a permanent floral arrangement mini-game in Quality Time mode and exclusive rewards.
