Xbox Developer Direct 2025: January 23rd Showcase Announced
Microsoft has unveiled the date for its next Xbox Developer Direct, scheduled for January 23rd. This marks the third annual event, kicking off the 2025 Xbox game showcase season. Following the successful January 2023 and 2024 events, this latest showcase will begin at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm GMT. Rumors circulating around January 9th proved accurate, confirming the January 23rd date.

- South of Midnight: A stylish action-adventure game from Compulsion Games (Contrast, We Happy Few), announced in June 2023, with a release date potentially revealed during the Direct.
The showcase is expected to last over 40 minutes, mirroring previous events. While only three titles are officially confirmed, expect additional game reveals and updates, similar to the 2024 showcase which featured Avowed, Ara: History Untold, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2, and Visions of Mana.
