Xbox Game Pass Adds Exciting Titles in Second Wave of January 2025

Microsoft unveils the exciting Xbox Game Pass January 2025 Wave 2 lineup! This announcement, preceding Microsoft's Xbox Developer Direct on January 23rd, features several day-one Game Pass additions, including Doom: The Dark Ages, South of Midnight, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and a yet-to-be-revealed title.

The wave begins January 21st with Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S), a day-one release on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Master the mountain in this snowy sequel, featuring up to eight-player cross-platform multiplayer.

January 22nd brings a flurry of additions: Flock (Console) joins Game Pass Standard, offering cooperative multiplayer flight and creature collecting. Gigantic: Rampage Edition (Cloud, Console, and PC) arrives on Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard, providing a 5v5 MOBA hero shooter experience. Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess (Console), a Japanese-inspired action strategy game, also launches on Game Pass Standard, alongside Magical Delicacy (Console), Tchia (Xbox Series X|S), and The Case of the Golden Idol (Console). Finally, Starbound (Cloud and Console) expands its Game Pass presence to Ultimate and Standard editions.

January 28th sees the day-one arrival of Eternal Strands (Cloud, Console, and PC) on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, a fantasy action-adventure from Yellow Brick Games. Also launching on the 28th is Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S), a third-person shooter and trap defense game for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

Shady Part of Me (Cloud, Console, and PC) joins Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard on January 29th. A day-one release on January 30th, Sniper Elite: Resistance (Cloud, Console, and PC) brings its award-winning sniping mechanics to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) concludes the month's releases with a day-one launch on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on January 31st.

February 4th adds Far Cry New Dawn (Cloud, Console, and PC) to Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard.
