What are Nightmare Echoes?

Nightmare Echoes are alternative variants of 4-cost (Overlord-class) Echoes. They feature unique active skills and offer a percentage-based elemental damage boost, inherently surpassing standard Echoes in value. This passive elemental damage bonus allows them to replace a 3-cost Echo, enabling a potent 441111 Echo composition. Importantly, they retain the Sonata/Set effects of their regular counterparts, minimizing build adjustments.

How to Unlock Nightmare Echoes

Unlocking Nightmare Echoes requires completing the "Dream Patrol I" quest in Rinascita. This tutorial quest is initiated by interacting with the White Cat in Ragunna City after finishing Act 2 Chapter 3 of the Rinascita main storyline.

Defeated Nightmare Echoes appear in the Echo Hunting section of your Guidebook. However, Nightmare Tempest Mephis and Nightmare Crownless require completing specific Exploration Quests:
