Bugbear Entertainment, masters of demolition derby racing, are back with Wreckfest 2! This Finnish studio's dedication to adrenaline-fueled chaos has earned them a fiercely loyal following, and Wreckfest 2 promises to deliver more of the same.
Initially announced last summer, we now have a release date and a new trailer! Prepare for high-octane destruction on March 20th, when Wreckfest 2 launches into Steam Early Access.
The new trailer (less than a minute long) perfectly showcases the core gameplay: high-speed demolition derbies featuring battered, beat-up vehicles. The damage model receives significant attention, promising spectacular crashes with realistic-looking dents and flying debris. Expect dynamic environments, with tracks filled with old tires and other obstacles that react realistically to collisions.
Early Access will be a period of ongoing development, with Bugbear pledging regular updates adding new cars and diverse vehicle types.
