World of Warcraft Classic: Season of Discovery's Final Phase
Get ready, adventurers! Blizzard has announced that the seventh and final phase of World of Warcraft Classic's Season of Discovery will commence on January 28. This exciting update will introduce the thrilling Karazhan Crypts dungeon and the intense Scourge Invasions event, offering new challenges and experiences for players. Just over a week later, on February 6, guilds will have the opportunity to tackle the legendary Naxxramas raid, which promises to bring fresh twists and tests of skill.
Following closely on the heels of Phase 6, which saw players return to Silithus for the Scepter of the Shifting Sands quest chain and the Ahn'qiraj raids, Phase 7 promises to keep the momentum going. During their adventures in Ahn'qiraj, players encountered a mysterious Shadowy Figure among the desert ruins. While speculation ran rampant that this figure was Xal'atath, the main antagonist of World of Warcraft: The War Within, the NPC only offered cryptic comments about the Old Gods. Will this enigmatic character make a final appearance in Phase 7? Only time will tell.
Phase 7 kicks off on Tuesday, January 28, following scheduled server maintenance. Once servers are back online, players can dive into the new Karazhan Crypts 5-player dungeon located in Deadwind Pass. This dungeon takes adventurers beneath the iconic tower of Karazhan, which later became a 10-player raid in The Burning Crusade. Alongside this, the Scourge Invasions event will see hordes of undead monsters swarm various zones and cities across Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms. Players can engage in new Scourge Invasion quests at Light's Hope Chapel in the Eastern Plaguelands, and collect Necrotic Runes from undead foes to purchase new consumable items.
