World of Warcraft Unveils New 6-Month Subscription Rewards for 2025
World of Warcraft players who purchase a six-month subscription will receive the Timbered Sky Snake mount (for retail WoW) and the Timbered Air Snakelet pet (for Classic WoW). These rewards, inspired by the 2025 Year of the Wood Snake, will be granted by January 31, 2025, and must be redeemed before January 31, 2026.
This continues a tradition of bonus in-game items for longer subscriptions, following the Auspicious Arborwyrm reward from 2024. The Timbered Sky Snake and Timbered Air Snakelet can also be purchased individually from the in-game shop for $25 and $10 respectively. A separate pet, the Timbered Sky Snakelet, is available for $10 in the Battle.net shop but isn't included in the subscription offer.
January 2025 Six-Month WoW Subscription Offer:
- Timbered Sky Snake mount (World of Warcraft: Dragonflight)
- Timbered Air Snakelet pet (Classic WoW)
Existing subscribers on a six-month plan will also receive these rewards.
12-Month Subscription Bonus:
Twelve-month subscribers receive the above rewards plus the following:
- Startouched Furline, Gigantic Grrloc, and Charming Courier mounts (retail WoW)
- Lava Drake mount and Swoopy pet (Classic WoW)
This also includes the July 2025 six-month subscription rewards, making it a particularly attractive offer for mount collectors.
With major content updates planned for both retail and Classic WoW in 2025, including potential player housing in retail and the progression servers reaching Mists of Pandaria in Classic, now is an opportune time to secure a longer subscription.
