World of Warcraft Patch 11.1: New Character Select Screen Campsites
World of Warcraft Patch 11.1 introduces customizable character select screens with collectible campsites! Four new campsites are available at launch, with more planned for future updates.
Players can now personalize their character selection screen with multiple campsites, each with customizable names and unlockable backgrounds. This builds upon the Warbands system from The War Within.
Unlocking the Campsites:
Patch 11.1 adds four new campsites to the original "Adventurer's Rest":

The Ohn'ahran Overlook is automatically unlocked after logging in post-patch. The others require completing specific achievements or progressing through seasonal content.
Accessing and Using Campsites:
Campsite information and unlocking is managed within the Collections pane. Players can preview and unlock campsites there. The character select screen itself features a new campsite tab, allowing players to select their preferred background or randomize their selection from favorites.
Blizzard plans to continue expanding this feature, adding more campsites through future content updates, events, the Trading Post, and potentially the in-game shop. Expect to collect campsites alongside other collectibles like mounts and pets.
