Unlocking the Fire Seal in Fields of Mistria: A Guide

By IsaacMay 13,2025

Following the exciting March 10 update in *Fields of Mistria*, players can now access the Fire Seal after successfully clearing the preceding altars. To unlock this new area, you must offer four specific items: a Faceted Rock Gem, Rockroot, Emerald, and a Sealing Scroll. Here's a comprehensive guide on how to obtain these items and unlock the Fire Seal.

Where to Find Faceted Rock Gem in Fields of Mistria

The Faceted Rock Gem, a rare artifact, is hidden within the mines of *Fields of Mistria*. Ensure your game is updated to the latest version and navigate to Floors 50-59. We discovered this gem on Floor 56 after some diligent digging. To find it, look for marked spots on the ground and use your pickaxe or shovel. Keep in mind that due to its rarity, you may need to spend considerable time searching through these floors.

Where to Find Rockroot in Fields of Mistria

Rockroot is a common forageable item you'll encounter on Floors 50-59 of the mines. If you're a frequent miner, you might already have this in your inventory. It appears as a dark, root-like plant. You'll only need one to complete the altar for the Priestess, so keep an eye out for it during your expeditions.

Where to Find Emerald in Fields of Mistria

Emeralds are among the easiest items to gather for the Fire Seal offerings. You can find Emerald geodes on Floors 50-59 in the mines. They are quite common, making them relatively easy to collect. Alternatively, you can obtain Emeralds by breaking large boulders around Mistria or purchasing them from Balor's Wagon for just 200 tesserae. If you've unlocked the new Stone Refinery from the March 2025 update, you can also craft Emeralds yourself, saving time on your search.

How to Get the Sealing Scroll in Fields of Mistria

The Sealing Scroll is the last item required to break the Fire Seal. To obtain it, you'll need to embark on a quest that begins after meeting Juniper near the seal. You'll then need to involve Balor, who can acquire the scroll for you, but not without a cost. The requirements include:

  • x10 Silver Ingots
  • x10 Rubies
  • x10 Sapphires
  • x10 Emeralds

If you haven't gathered these items yet, the mines are a great place to search. Once you have the necessary materials, deposit them in the bin by Balor's Wagon to secure the Sealing Scroll.

Unlocking the Fire Seal

With the Sealing Scroll, Faceted Rock Gem, Emerald, and Rockroot in your inventory, return to Floor 60 of the mines to make your offering. This action will unlock the Fire Seal, granting access to a new biome and further adventures during the game's Early Access phase.
