"Unlock Shiny Meloetta, Manaphy, Enamorus in Pokémon Home"

By JasonApr 27,2025

Pokémon enthusiasts now have the exciting opportunity to collect Shiny Meloetta, Manaphy, and Enamorus through the Pokémon Home app, though the journey to obtain all three involves overcoming significant challenges. To encourage more engagement with the storage service, the path to these shiny legendaries requires transferring large numbers of Pokémon into Pokémon Home.

How to Get Shiny Manaphy in Pokémon Home

The Shiny Manaphy in Pokemon Home

To secure the Shiny Manaphy in Pokémon Home, players must fully complete the Sinnoh Pokédex within the mobile storage app. This requires owning Pokémon Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl, playing these games, completing the Pokédex, and then verifying its completion in the Pokémon Home app. Once all Pokémon in the regional dex are registered, a Shiny Manaphy will be sent to the Nintendo User's account via mystery gift.

The Sinnoh Pokédex for Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl contains 150 Pokémon, making this a straightforward yet time-consuming task. The reward, a Shiny Manaphy, is highly coveted, as obtaining one was practically impossible before this event.

Securing the Shiny Enamorus in Pokémon Home follows a similar process to obtaining Shiny Manaphy but involves completing a different regional Pokédex. Players must fill out the entire Hisui Pokédex from Pokémon Legends: Arceus. After registering every Pokémon, they should navigate to the games tab in Pokémon Home and confirm the completion. The Shiny Enamorus will then be sent via mystery gift.

Completing the Hisui Pokédex, which includes 242 Pokémon, is more challenging than the Sinnoh Pokédex. However, the semi-open-world nature of Legends: Arceus can make the task more engaging.

How to Get Shiny Meloetta in Pokémon Home

The most challenging of the three to unlock, Shiny Meloetta, requires completing three different Pokédexes: the Paldea, Kitakami, and Blueberry Pokédexes. These must be completed by capturing the required Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet or Violet, including the use of the Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC, which provides access to the Kitakami and Blueberry Pokédexes.

Players must catch the Pokémon directly in Scarlet and Violet, as transferring Pokémon from other games won't suffice. The Paldea Pokédex has 400 Pokémon, the Kitakami Pokédex (from the Teal Mask expansion) requires 200, and the Blueberry Pokédex (from the Indigo Disk expansion) needs 243. Currently, the only way to obtain a Shiny Meloetta is through this Pokémon Home promotion, making it a challenging yet rewarding endeavor for dedicated collectors.

Fortunately, these three giveaways are not time-limited, allowing players to take their time in collecting the extensive number of Pokémon needed for each Shiny legendary.

This is how you can obtain Shiny Meloetta, Shiny Manaphy, and Shiny Enamorus in Pokémon Home.
