All Hidden and Secret Achievements in Monster Hunter Wilds
The game features 12 secret achievements in total. While seven unlock naturally through story progression, these five require specific objectives:
- I Caught a Shooting Star! Capture a luminous desert creature resembling a shooting star
- A Prize Held High Capture a creature carrying an Ancient Wyvern Coin
- A Legacy Restored Acquire a Rarity 8 Artian Weapon
- Seasoned Hunter Hunt 50 Tempered monsters
- Top of the Food Chain Hunt 50 Apex Predators
While some objectives are straightforward, others require strategic approaches. Here's how to complete each one:
I Caught a Shooting Star!
Visit Zone 11 of the Windward Plains during nighttime. Equip Screamer Pods and locate a Baunos near gathering spots. Stun it with your pods before capturing it with your Capture Net.
A Prize Held High
Search confined areas across any map – particularly Zone 6 of the Scarlet Forest. Look for a golden crab near small water pools. Your companion Alma will comment when you're near a coin-bearing creature.
A Legacy Restored
Begin crafting Artian gear during High Rank missions. To obtain Rarity 8 weapons, you'll need to hunt Tempered monsters while equipped with Rarity 7 gear.
Seasoned Hunter
Remember: Tempered monsters (purple outlines) differ from Frenzied monsters (red outlines). This achievement becomes accessible from Chapter 4 onward in High Rank content.
Top of the Food Chain
Focus exclusively on these qualifying Apex Predators:
- Rey Dau
- Uth Duna
- Nu Udra
- Jin Dahaad
