Uncharted Waters Origin's Latest Update: Lighthouse of the Ruins and More!
Uncharted Waters Origin has launched a new update, "The Lighthouse of the Ruins," introducing a challenging new PvE event. This update also includes a fresh character, William Adams, and several new crew members, along with a new Mate Growth system. Let's dive into the details.
A Monthly PvE Challenge: The Lighthouse of the Ruins
The Lighthouse of the Ruins presents a tiered PvE challenge. Players ascend through various levels, battling enemies and earning rewards like Blue Gems and Shipbuilding Accelerations. Rewards are substantial for clearing specific levels, and the event resets monthly, allowing players to retain some progress (up to half) between resets. Each attempt costs 10 energy, with 8 energy refunded upon failure. Note that redo items are not permitted, and rank rewards are awarded only once per month.
New Admiral and Crew Members
William Adams, a renowned English navigator, joins as a new S-grade Admiral. His story, involving his arrival in Japan aboard the Liefde and his quest to gain the Shogun's trust, is woven into the game. Additionally, several new crew members arrive: Naoe Kanetsugu and Togo Grimani (normal Mates), and Ga Eunjeong and Tatsumaru (Employee Mates).
Introducing Transcendence: Enhanced Mate Growth
The new Transcendence system enhances Mate growth. After maximizing Premium Training for a Mate, Transcendence unlocks, adding an extra Effect slot. The Tome of Transcendence, necessary for this upgrade, can be obtained from the Lighthouse of the Ruins, Arctic Waters Land Training, and a smuggling ring assistant captain in Cape Town.
Limited-Time Event: Combat Support Special Attendance
The Combat Support Special Attendance Event runs until November 5th. Simply logging in grants players 60 Tomes of Transcendence, 40 Highest Combat Appointments, a Birch Board, and equipment such as the Marxbrüder Zweihänder & Rüstung.
