Get Unbound Emote Pose in FFXIV: Guide

With the exciting release of patch 7.16 in *Final Fantasy XIV*, players now have access to new quests and a range of fresh cosmetics. One of the most sought-after items from this update is the Pose of the Unbound emote. Here's a detailed guide on how to unlock this stylish new emote in *FFXIV*.

Getting the Pose of the Unbound Emote in FFXIV

To acquire the Pose of the Unbound emote in *FFXIV*, you must embark on the quest titled "Imposing Views." You can initiate this quest by speaking with the Unbound Agent NPC, found in Ul’dah – Steps of Thal at coordinates X:12.5, Y:11.5.

Before you can access "Imposing Views," you need to have completed the quest "Picking Up the Torch." To unlock "Picking Up the Torch," you'll first need to complete all five role quests in the game. This requires reaching level 100 with a Tank, Healer, Ranged DPS, Melee DPS, and Magical Ranged DPS class. Once you've achieved this, head to Tulliyollal to pick up and complete the respective role quests. Completing these will grant you access to "Picking Up the Torch," paving the way for "Imposing Views" in Ul’dah.

The quest "Imposing Views" itself is quite straightforward. Your task is to journey to the Sagolii Desert, where you'll need to engage in conversations with Apyaahi multiple times and defeat a few monsters along the way. Upon successfully completing the quest, you will be rewarded with the coveted Pose of the Unbound emote.

To showcase your new emote, simply enter the command "/unbound" or "/poseoftheunbound" in the chat box and press the Enter key. Your character will then strike a fun, Jojo-inspired pose that's sure to impress your fellow adventurers.

That covers everything you need to know about obtaining the Pose of the Unbound emote in *FFXIV*. For more tips, guides, and detailed information on the game, including our *Dawntrail* review and the latest patch release schedule, be sure to check out The Escapist.
