By AudreyMay 23,2025

Still working on completing your collection from the Celestial Guardians Expansion of Pokemon TCG Pocket, which was released just three weeks ago? Well, you might want to pick up the pace because another exciting expansion is on its way. The Extradimensional Crisis expansion is set to launch on May 29, and it's bringing along the intriguing Ultra Beasts and the enigmatic chimera Pokemon, Type: Null.

Extradimensional Crisis dives deep into the realm of the Ultra Beasts, those peculiar alien-like creatures that made a splash in Pokemon Sun and Moon as invaders from another dimension. This expansion will feature cards like Buzzwole ex, Blacephalon, Nihilego, and Guzzlord ex. Alongside these, more Alola Pokemon will be introduced, expanding on the roster from Celestial Guardians. The inclusion of Type: Null hints at the possibility of seeing its evolution, Silvally, in future updates.

With every new expansion comes fresh cosmetics, and Extradimensional Crisis is no exception. Starting May 29, you can grab an Ultra Beast-themed binder cover in exchange for shop tickets. Additionally, a floral display board will be available for purchase with event tickets during the upcoming Wonder Pick event, kicking off on June 11.

Pokemon TCG Pocket has been consistently rolling out expansions since its launch last year. While Extradimensional Crisis is categorized as a minor booster expansion, featuring only one booster pack type, it's quickly following its predecessors. This marks the seventh expansion overall and the fourth smaller expansion, joining the ranks of Mythical Island, Triumphant Light, and Shining Revelry. Currently, all expansions remain accessible in the game, but keep in mind that this might change in the future.
