Transformers: Reactivate Gameplay Footage Leaks After Game’s Cancellation

By LaylaFeb 21,2025

Recently canceled Transformers: Reactivate, a co-op game unveiled by Splash Damage in 2022, resurfaces in leaked gameplay footage. The footage, from a 2020 build, showcases Bumblebee navigating a destroyed cityscape, seamlessly shifting between robot and vehicle forms while engaging an alien enemy force known as "the Legion." The gameplay bears resemblance to Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, though with a different antagonist. Despite some unfinished textures, the footage reveals a polished game with environmental destruction and an incomplete cutscene depicting Bumblebee's arrival in a post-apocalyptic New York City. While the game's cancellation prevents players from experiencing it firsthand, the leaks offer a glimpse into its potential. The partnership between Splash Damage, Hasbro, and Takara Tomy ultimately failed to bring this title to market.
