Below, you'll find our comprehensive Sword of Convallaria tier list and character rankings, along with recommendations for Epic and Rare characters to bolster your team while you aim for Legendaries.

S-Tier
No surprises here. Beryl, Gloria, Inanna, and Col are prime reroll targets for a strong start. Beryl and Col stand out as the top DPS characters, with Beryl slightly ahead due to her Destroyer-type advantage against all but Watchers. Col, a formidable rogue, excels at eliminating enemies from the side or rear, making her a critical asset when equipped with attack and crit rate boosting gear.
Gloria and Inanna are the premier support characters. Gloria can serve as a hard carry DPS with her powerful Flag buffs, knockback abilities, and high damage output. Inanna, the ideal dedicated healer, offers longevity with her ability to summon the Guard of the Princess, a controllable tank that can absorb hits and help meet battle objectives.
Edda, the first new character in the global version, is a strong support who enhances magical teams, particularly in Weaponry Trial I for easier Legendary weapon farming. Cocoa, introduced in September 2024, is an excellent tank with additional utility through heals, buffs, and debuffs, reaching her full potential at five stars.
Saffiyah and Auguste, known from CN and TW tier lists, are considered game-changers. Saffiyah, a versatile Seeker, can summon minions, heal, and deal damage while avoiding hits. Auguste, the best auto-play character, is the strongest Breaker DPS, making both essential for any team composition.
A-Tier
Dantalion and Magnus form a powerful duo, with strong attack buffs that can dominate PvE stages. Magnus is a top tank choice, especially if you haven't yet acquired Cocoa. Dantalion, a robust DPS, grows stronger as battles progress, potentially turning the tide even if your team is wiped out.
Nonowill offers valuable support with buffs and debuffs, while also being a mobile attacker. Simona, added in late August 2024, is a battlemage who can freeze and slow enemies while dealing significant damage, making her a great addition to magic-based teams alongside Edda.
Rawiyah (Alt) and Saffiyah (Alt) are strong additions to any team. Rawiyah (Alt) provides utility and high damage, including AoE capabilities and self-healing. Saffiyah (Alt), while not as powerful as her base version, is an excellent debuffer, reducing enemy attack while buffing allies and dealing damage.
B-Tier
Maitha is a versatile tank who can also deal damage and heal, making her a solid starter tank, though likely to be replaced by stronger options like Magnus or Cocoa. Rawiyah is a great early-game DPS with AoE capabilities and self-healing, helping you progress through initial levels.
C-Tier
While considered the least effective among Legendaries, C-tier characters like Teadon can still serve as decent early-game tanks. These characters may be replaced as you pull better units, but they can help you get started.
Best Epic Characters to Invest In
Not everyone will have the luck or patience to reroll for S-tier units, but there are powerful Epic characters that can fill gaps in your team and even carry you to the endgame.
Role | Character |
---|---|
Rogue | Crimson Falcon |
DPS | Tempest, Stormbreaker |
Mage | Darklight Ice Priest, Abyss, Butterfly |
Tank | Suppression |
Healer | Angel |
Crimson Falcon has been a reliable rogue, carrying teams until stronger characters like Col are obtained. Her high damage output and mobility, coupled with frequent Memory Shard drops, make her an early max-out candidate.
Tempest and Stormbreaker are solid frontline DPS choices if you lack Gloria. For mages, consider Darklight Ice Priest (a Rare character) and Abyss. Darklight Ice Priest deals ranged ice damage, slows enemies, and creates debilitating ice tiles. Butterfly, more of a utility character akin to Fire Emblem's Dancer, offers minor heals and position swaps.
For tanks and healers, Suppression and Angel are top picks. Suppression is a strong tank, while Angel's healing is crucial if you're missing Inanna, keeping your team alive as you save for more pulls.
