The Horizons Celebration event is making a dazzling return to Pokémon Go, and it's ushering in the debut of Tinkatink and its evolutions, Tinkatuff and Tinkaton. From April 16th to 22nd, players can experience the charm of these new Pokémon, which are as shiny and smashing as they come. Known for wielding hammers, Tinkaton famously uses them to launch rocks at Corviknight, and now, you can evolve your Tinkatink into this powerhouse by gathering 125 Candy over the event week.
Adding to the excitement, a costumed Floragato sporting Liko's pin will be wandering the wild, hatching from Eggs, and appearing in Raids. Keep an eye out for its Shiny variant, which could make an appearance if luck is on your side. Other Pokémon, including Pikachu donning Cap's hat and Charcadet, may also join the party.
A variety of Paldea favorites like Fuecoco, Sprigatito, Quaxly, and Pawmi will be roaming the wild. Seven km Eggs will hatch familiar faces such as Hatenna and Elekid, with a chance to hatch Tinkatink as well. Keep your camera ready for snapshot surprises, as Horizons characters and their Pokémon might photobomb your pictures.
On the battlefront, Pikachu in Cap's hat will feature the special move Volt Tackle. Raids will feature a mix of Pokémon, including Charizard, Metagross, Alolan Muk, and more Floragato. For those looking to maximize their rewards, Team Go Rocket balloons will appear more frequently, Egg hatch distances will be halved, and both Shiny chances and Stardust payouts will be increased.
The event also includes Field Research and both free and paid Timed Research, offering extra rewards like an exclusive avatar pose. Players can prepare for the event by purchasing the Celebration Event Ultra Ticket Box from the Pokémon Go Web Store for $4.99.
