Nightdive Studios has exciting news for fans of the classic sci-fi horror action RPG: the much-anticipated System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster is slated to launch on June 26, 2025. This modernized version of the 1999 cult favorite will be available not only on PC but will also make its debut on consoles. Players can look forward to playing on Windows PC via Steam, GOG, the Epic Games Store, and the Humble Bundle Store, as well as on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X and S, and Nintendo Switch.

Set 42 years after the events of the first System Shock, the malevolent AI SHODAN and her army of mutants have taken over the starship Von Braun. Players step into the shoes of a soldier who awakens from cryo-sleep with cybernetic enhancements. As he navigates the eerie corridors of the derelict ship, he must develop his upgradable skills, wield powerful weapons, and harness paranormal psionic abilities to combat SHODAN’s terrifying creations and her god-like delusions.
