Survive Shifting Tombs, Alter Desert

RuneScape has just released an exciting Dev's Diary for April, detailing the latest update, Return to the Desert: Pharaoh's Folly. This new quest, which is available from today until April 28th, challenges players to survive the Shifting Tombs and alter the fate of the desert with the help of Leela and Ozan.

Here’s the Full Scoop on the Pharaoh’s Folly in RuneScape

The situation in the Kharidian desert is heating up as Menaphos descends into chaos. Osman's shocking betrayal has left the city teetering on the brink, with its inhabitants divided and the sinister presence of Amascut lurking in the shadows. Surviving the Shifting Tombs is just the start of the perilous journey ahead.

You won't be facing these challenges alone. Leela is back in action, and you'll be joined by new allies, including some adorable pets. Together, you'll delve into the ancient mysteries of Menaphos, seeking to unravel the true intentions behind Osman's actions.

Heading Back into the Heat Again

Completing Pharaoh’s Folly comes with some enticing rewards. You'll earn Thieving and Agility XP, the prestigious title "The Rabble-Rouser," and a new bracelet known as Leela’s Favour. This bracelet is particularly useful, as it allows you to teleport across all districts of Menaphos, the Sophanem slayer dungeon, the shifting tombs, and all active soul obelisks.

The Return to the Desert: Pharaoh’s Folly quest is not for the faint-hearted or the unprepared. You'll need a Slayer level of 87, completion of the Beneath Scabaras’ Sands quest, and to have ticked off various milestones in the Do No Evil quest within Phite Club. Additionally, you must have built the necessary structures from the Fort Forinthry storyline. Once you meet all these criteria, you can meet Leela outside the gates of Menaphos and embark on a mission to save the city from its dire fate. So, if you're ready, download RuneScape from the Google Play Store and dive into the desert adventure!
