Week two of The Sims 4's Blast from the Past event is underway, sending players on a scavenger hunt to unravel the mystery. But one seemingly simple task is proving surprisingly tricky for some: studying a Historical Display. This guide will show you exactly how to do it.
One of Week 2's quests requires you to study a Historical Display at a museum. Long-time players likely know their local museum's location. New players should check their map for a building icon depicting pillars. While four museums exist in the default game, the Municipal Museum in Willow Creek and The Future's Past in Oasis Springs are conveniently located near other Blast from the Past tasks.
How to Study a Historical Display
Once you’ve arrived at a museum, enter and locate a Historical Display. Both paintings and sculptures qualify. Select the display and choose the "View" option. The quest should complete upon viewing, indicated by the Emit icon appearing.
Despite the quest's simplicity, many players report encountering issues. Mods appear to be interfering, preventing the "View" button from functioning. Removing mods might resolve this, but if not, try viewing multiple items at different museums.
