Stalker 2: How To Get The Unique Cavalier Rifle

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl boasts a diverse arsenal, letting you tailor your loadout to your preferred combat style. Beyond the standard issue, you can discover unique weapons with enhanced stats and modifications—the Cavalier sniper rifle is one such prize. This special variant features a red-dot sight instead of a traditional scope, making it a formidable weapon at close to medium ranges.

Acquiring the Unique Cavalier Rifle in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2

The Cavalier Sniper Rifle awaits within the Duga base, specifically near the Military Unit building. It's tucked away in a warehouse connected to a greenhouse. If you've already explored Duga for the Journalist's stash, navigating to this location should be straightforward via the secondary entrance.

Accessing the Warehouse

Enter Duga and head towards the Military Unit, as marked on your map. You don't need to enter the building itself; simply circle around to the rear where you'll find the greenhouse. Beware: two Pseudogiants patrol this area and will attack on sight. Proceed cautiously to avoid a confrontation.

Once inside the greenhouse, you'll enter the warehouse. Prepare for a rodent infestation—numerous rats will swarm you upon entry. To escape the relentless gnawing, climb onto the elevated green platforms at the back of the warehouse. Alternatively, a well-placed grenade can swiftly clear the vermin.

Retrieving the Cavalier

With the rats dealt with, examine the warehouse ceiling above the greenhouse entrance. You'll spot wooden boards painted yellow. Shoot these boards with your weapon to dislodge the Cavalier sniper rifle.

Collect your prize and safely exit Duga. For further enhancements, visit Screw, the technician at Rostok base. The Cavalier offers exceptional damage and accuracy, further boosted by upgrades and modifications. Its red-dot sight makes it a versatile choice for players who prefer a scope-less sniper rifle, ideal for close to medium-range engagements.
