Heads up: music streaming service Spotify appears to be experiencing an outage this morning. According to IGN's sister site Downdetector, reports of Spotify outages started coming in around 6 a.m. PT today and have continued to flood in. We ourselves encountered difficulties accessing the service for much of the morning, and when we managed to open the app, it wouldn't play music.
Spotify has officially acknowledged the issues and is actively "working to resolve it as soon as possible." The company has also debunked rumors suggesting that the outage is related to a security hack, confirming that these reports are false.
