Spells are a unique gameplay mechanic in Fields of Mistria, unlocked upon reaching Floor 10 of the Mines. Access to the Mines opens after your town achieves Rank 10 through accumulating Renown points.

Once you hit Floor 10, Caldarus will guide you on your spellcasting journey, bestowing the potent Full Restore spell—a lifesaver that instantly replenishes your health and stamina.

Unlocking additional spells requires further story progression, deeper exploration of the Mines, and breaking elemental Seals. Future updates will introduce even more spells, so check back for updates to this guide.

Your spell inventory is conveniently located in the Spells tab (sparkle icon) within your Journal (below the Animals tab). Pin your favorite spell to your HUD for quick access, while others are readily available in your Journal.

Mana fuels your spells, replenished using Mana Potions or through natural regeneration (which takes several days).
