Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) is back in the General Exhibit area at TGS 2024, marking their first major appearance in four years. The official exhibitor list confirms their presence among 731 companies occupying 3190 booths across Halls 1-8. While Sony participated in TGS 2023, their presence was limited to the indie game showcase. This year, they join industry giants like Capcom and Konami in the main exhibition.
Sony's specific plans remain undisclosed. Their May State of Play presentation revealed several 2024 releases, many of which will have launched by the time TGS arrives. Furthermore, their recent financial report indicated no plans for major new franchise releases before April 2025.

TGS, a leading video game exhibition in Asia, takes place at Makuhari Messe from September 26th to 29th. The 2024 event is set to be the largest yet, boasting 731 exhibitors (448 Japanese and 283 international) and 3190 booths (as of July 4th).
