Solar Opposites to End with Sixth Season

The sixth season of Solar Opposites will mark its final chapter. Hulu announced today that the show’s last season is set to premiere in the final quarter of 2025.

In mid-2024, Hulu renewed Solar Opposites for a sixth season, with no mention at the time that it would be the series’ conclusion.

Launched in 2020, Solar Opposites is an adult animated sitcom following a family of aliens stranded on Earth after their home planet’s destruction.

Created by Star Trek: Lower Decks’ Mike McMahan and Rick & Morty’s Justin Roiland, the show saw Roiland’s departure in 2023 following domestic violence charges, which were later dismissed.

English actor Dan Stevens seamlessly took over as the lead voice actor after Roiland’s exit.
