Announced in June 2020, skate. is finally ready for testing on PlayStation and Xbox consoles. While a PC beta date remains unconfirmed, register as an Insider to receive updates.
According to the game's official X (formerly Twitter) account, console playtesting has been underway since at least December, possibly even September. However, developer Full Circle encourages continued registration, as development is ongoing.
To participate, visit EA's website, locate the skate. page, and sign up for Skate Insider Playtesting. Early access testers (Insiders) will receive exclusive in-game rewards, including a custom skateboard and stickers, upon the Early Access launch.
skate. is slated for Early Access release sometime in 2025. This marks the franchise's return after nearly a decade since Skate 3, and will be available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Set in the fictional city of San Vansterdam, this free-to-play, live-service title promises an "authentic evolution" of the nearly 20-year-old series, as detailed in a previous Full Circle YouTube interview.
