Celebrate 25 Years of The Sims with Legacy Collections!

EA and Maxis are throwing a fantastic 25th-anniversary party for The Sims franchise, bringing back the beloved originals! Both The Sims and The Sims 2 are now available on PC via the Sims: Legacy Collection, Sims 2: Legacy Collection, and the combined Sims 25th Birthday Bundle ($40).

These comprehensive collections include nearly all expansion and stuff packs for each game. While The Sims 2: Legacy Collection omits the 2008 IKEA Home Stuff pack, it still offers a substantial amount of content. Both collections even include bonus content: The Sims gets a "Throwback Fit Kit," and The Sims 2 receives a "Grunge Revival Kit."

PlayThis marks a momentous return for these classic titles. The Sims was initially a disc-only release, making it inaccessible to many without a physical copy. The Sims 2 was previously available through an Ultimate Collection, but that was discontinued. Now, all four main Sims games are readily available digitally.

Originally reviewed with scores of 9.5/10 and 8.5/10 respectively, these original titles still hold up. Their charm, simplicity, and challenging gameplay make them worthwhile experiences, even with the advancements in later installments.

Grab your copy of The Sims: Legacy Collection and The Sims 2: Legacy Collection today on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the EA app!
